CLUB
Founded in 2010, Orlando Thunder Water Polo began as a way to help one high school team grow beyond its season. Just two years later, we celebrated our first Division I athlete, followed by our first All-American in 2013. By 2015, we had expanded to welcome players from all area high schools—and we’ve been growing ever since.
Today, we proudly serve athletes across Orange and Lake Counties, developing the skills they need to succeed in water polo and beyond. Our club emphasizes strong fundamentals, individual growth, and a team-first mindset. Through a focus on perseverance, discipline, and leadership, we prepare athletes for the next level—whether that’s collegiate competition or simply becoming their best selves.

The Orlando Thunder Water Polo Club aims to help water polo players throughout Lake and Orange County acquire the necessary skills to be successful throughout their water polo careers and beyond. We believe in providing our players with a quality water polo experience, in a positive and competitive environment.
PHILOSOPHY
At the Orlando Thunder Water Polo Club, we strive to teach our athletes some of the most valuable lessons learned from athletic participation: the pursuit of excellence through personal development and teamwork, ethical and responsible behavior in the pool and outside, leadership, and strength of character, adherence to the spirit of the rules and sportsmanship--respect for one's opponents, acceptance of victory with humility and acknowledgment of defeat with grace.
