THE CLUB
Orlando Thunder Water Polo began in 2010 as a way to help one high school team grow beyond its season. Just two years later, we celebrated our first Division I athlete, followed by our first All-American in 2013. By 2015, we had expanded to welcome players from all area high schools, and we've been growing ever since.
Today, we proudly serve athletes across Orange and Lake Counties, developing the skills they need to succeed in water polo and beyond. Our club emphasizes strong fundamentals, individual growth, and a team-first mindset. Through perseverance, discipline, and leadership, we prepare athletes for the next level, whether that's collegiate competition or simply becoming their best selves.

The Orlando Thunder Water Polo Club aims to help water polo players throughout Lake and Orange County acquire the necessary skills to be successful throughout their water polo careers and beyond. We believe in providing our players with a quality water polo experience in a positive and competitive environment.

CHARACTER IN THE POOL AND OUT
At Orlando Thunder Water Polo Club, we believe the lessons learned through sport extend far beyond the pool. We challenge our athletes to pursue excellence through personal growth, teamwork, leadership, and a strong sense of character.
Our athletes are expected to compete with integrity, take responsibility for their actions, respect teammates, coaches, officials, and opponents, and represent Orlando Thunder with pride both in and out of the water.
We value sportsmanship at every level. That means competing hard while respecting the spirit of the game, celebrating success with humility, learning from setbacks, and handling both victory and defeat with grace.
Our goal is not only to develop stronger water polo players, but also confident, accountable, and respectful young people who carry these values with them wherever they go.
