Meet the Orlando Thunder Board of Directors, the volunteer team that guides the club’s daily operations, mission, and long-term goals while keeping our athletes' and families' experience at the center of every decision.
Many of our board members balance full-time careers, families, and other commitments while giving their time and energy to help Thunder run smoothly and continue growing. Their behind-the-scenes work supports everything from communication and planning to programs, events, and athlete opportunities.

BOARD PRESIDENT
As founder of Orlando Thunder and President of the Board, Coach Possell brings decades of experience, leadership, and a deep commitment to the club’s athletes and families. She helps guide Thunder’s growth while keeping its mission, culture, and long-term success at the center of every decision.
RANEE STEWART
CO-TREASURER
Ranee Stewart is thrilled to serve as Board Treasurer and deeply give back to a program that has meant so much to her family. Having seen firsthand how this sport builds unmatched confidence, community, and camaraderie in young athletes, including her own daughter, Stewart is passionate about supporting the next generation of players. She loves helping people and brings a highly organized approach to managing the program's fiscal responsibilities. Stewart is especially excited to serve as a resource for other parents, helping them learn the ropes of the youth sports experience and ensuring every family feels welcome in the community.
SARA ARNDT
DIRECTOR AT LARGE
Sara Arndt is passionate about supporting Orlando Thunder Water Polo and giving back to the community. Always willing to lend a helping hand, Sara enjoys being involved and assisting wherever the board needs her most. Whether supporting events, helping behind the scenes, or stepping in when an extra set of hands is needed, she brings a positive attitude and a team-first spirit. Sara is proud to be part of the Thunder family and is committed to helping the program continue to grow and thrive.
BRIAN PATROLIA
VICE PRESIDENT
Brian brings years of Thunder parent experience and a strong understanding of what it takes to keep tournaments and club operations running smoothly. With children who have competed through the high school level and beyond, he frequently supports events as a tournament director and is one of the people working behind the scenes, on and off deck, to make sure everything comes together.

Dom discovered water polo when his children began playing and quickly became passionate about both the sport and the community around it. With athletes at every level, he especially enjoys helping new families learn the game, get involved at the table, and navigate the busy life of multi-activity kids.

As a Member at Large, Chris brings a steady, service-minded perspective to the Orlando Thunder Board and is always willing to step in where the club needs support. He is committed to strengthening the experience for athletes and families while helping Thunder continue to grow as a strong, connected community.
